  • Monitor
    • the research that is being done
    • the people involved, the relevant policy partners, and the agencies that fund the research
    • the key policy issues being debated or that should be developed
  • Create networks and synergies to further the research, the exchanges and the links.
  • Conduct activities to mobilize knowledge.
  • Include in the activities student training and student and faculty exchanges.

  • Family, work and work-life balance (including questions of low fertility and sustainable population)
  • Immigrants and migrants: opportunity structures, cohesion and contexts
  • Aging, life course flexibility and lifelong learning (including aging processes)
  • Health over the life course (including the changing nature of the elderly population).
