Kim M. Shuey - Professor

Kim Shuey is a sociologist who investigates processes of social inequality across the life course, particularly related to health, disability, and work. She has published on topics such as life course pathways of economic hardship and health, social mobility and health in midlife, disability and wealth accumulation, the transmission of health inequality across generations, disability accommodation, and the consequences of employment for health and well-being. In addition, she is currently working on projects that examine social and structural barriers to inclusion and accessibility.
