Jamie Seabrook (PhD 2013) and Bill Avison recently published an article in the February edition of the Canadian Review of Sociology (Vol 52, No. 1). Their article, entitled “Family Structure and Children’s Socioeconomic Attainment: A Canadian Sample,” has been featured in the media, with emphasis on their key study finding that people who grew up in stable single-parent families had higher socioeconomic status than those raised in two-parent families. http://lifewise.canoe.ca/Living/Parenting/2015/03/06/22273556.html
