Criminology Night a Success

On Tuesday February 2nd, students interested in criminology were invited to attend the Criminology Night at the Wave restaurant. Over 70 undergraduate students attended, and also the Sociology Students Association and a few graduate students and professors of sociology.

Presentations included a message from the Chair regarding the past, present and future of the criminology program at Western, our criminology course offerings, job and career opportunities for criminologists, testimonies from students who did their criminology degree at Western, and module and graduate school options. These presentations were followed by complimentary food and beverage for everyone, and time to socialize and ask questions. Many of the students indicated that they will be registering in criminology.
