In Memoriam: Isabel Bowron
Former Sociology department staff member, Isabel Bowron, died on Monday April 17th. Isabel worked in the Sociology department for many years. She served as an undergraduate counselor for quite some time, not only helping thousands of Sociology undergraduates navigate the program and its requirements, but also supporting faculty teaching in the undergraduate classroom. Sociology department Chair, Tracey Adams, recalls "I had the privilege of knowing her both in my roles as student and faculty member, and remember her as being wonderfully supportive, and funny."
We remember her with gratitude and fondness.
