This afternoon, Claire Henderson successfully defended her MA thesis, Ascertaining the Impact of Relativism on Moral Reasoning. Her research is part on an ongoing effort in the social sciences to expand the understanding of those factors that may influence and promote moral development. She explored the relationship between moral reasoning and relativistic attitudes by measuring the associations between the frequency of the use of B-type moral reasoning and scores on measures of relativism, equity, empathy, and open-mindedness.
Claire was accepted into the PhD Program in Business Administration at Ivey and her studies are underway.
Congratulations on both of these achievements, Claire!
